Sectional shopping

Working on a new project in Connecticut. I love this sectional from Kravet and if you pair it with one of the Kravet smart fabrics it is a good deal.  I think the contrasting fabrics on the base and the cushions is very subtle but has a sophisticated and casual elegance.  Sometimes the difficult part in shopping for fabrics is finding one that can wear well for a family with young children.  I will post some of our finds in this category in a later post.

Wykagyl Project

I am so excited to be working on this project.  It is a lovely home in need of some sprucing up.  I can't wait to post the after photos but in the meantime...here is the before.  Let me just say that I love working with this client; she is terrific!

Bachelor Pad in Portchester Part II

Another view of the apartment.  The apartment has wonderful views of the river and great light.  Looking for new end tables and cocktail tables.

I Love this lamp from Global Views in the Living Room.  It is so retro but has a modern flair.

Portchester Bachelor Pad

It is a work in progress but I am loving the way it looks so far.  Especially the sofa from Room and Board.  Next up: window treatments, side tables and cocktail table.  I have a few ideas which I will post soon.

Riverdale Study

Before

After

In this before and after you can see how I transformed a rarely used dining room into a study for a mom who needed to work from home.  I just loved working with this client because she was open to my ideas and she had a definite style that emerged in the process.  I would say that we taught each other many things.  I am now working on completing the living room and entry.  I think it is safe to say she liked the study.
